My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, right in the center of town and close to all amenities. The service was friendly and helpful, but some late-night chatting outside the room wasn't ideal. The dining experience was good, but it could have been better. On the bright side, the hotel's on-site parking, friendly staff, comfortable room, and hearty breakfast made the stay pleasant.

Our room was at the top of the hotel, which meant lugging our cases up several flights of stairs. The heating issue with the halogen heater made us freeze, and the dim lighting could have been improved with LED bulbs.

The staff were all very nice and friendly, which is always a good start. However, there was some off-putting late-night chatting outside our room.

The hotel's location was ideal for my stay, just a 10-minute walk from the train station, making it very convenient for travelers. The surrounding high street location added to the charm.

The dining experience was good overall, though there were some slow service moments. Freshly cooked food was a highlight, and freshly baked cookies were a nice touch.
